Hi, I’m Janelle

This is always so weird for me to talk about – like what do you really want to know? I’m a mom of five, two of whom were planned and they all have the same dad. We’ve been married for almost 20 years. My life atop “Spahn Mountain,” which is what I affectionately call my home, is a barrel of fun every single day. In case we don’t define “fun” the same way, let me explain.

My husband works from home. There are three kids doing hybrid learning: Eli in 1st grade, Eric in 4th grade and Piper is a sophomore. They’re in different school districts which means different school calendars to follow. Tori, is spending her senior year entirely online and working a couple of jobs. More scheduling to keep track of. Then we’ve got pre-k Zella that asks the required 1,000,000 questions a day.

I’m constantly doing laundry for seven people without using a dryer – I own one but rarely use it.

Our dishwasher runs at least once if not twice in a 24 hour period.

I swear my robot vacuum cries every time I turn it on.

Amidst all of this chaos, I am also successfully running a couple businesses of my own while working out and keeping fit along the way.

At one point in time, I was told that I should write a blog (no idea why they thought that) and being me I had to take it one step further. Working smarter not harder is a life goal of mine, so I figured let’s just get a website up and running where I can have everything in one place.
